1932 Martin C-2S 12 String Guitar
Martin produced only six
pre-war twelve string guitars. This C-2S was the first. The
three flat tops were less successful.
As the "new Longworth" book
says:
"Given the light
construction of it's flattops at the time, adding extra strings to a C-2
was probably a better choice."
This guitar was formerly
owned by Mark O'Connor and used for his "False Dawn" CD.
